Accessibility

It is our intention that this site be easy to use and accessible to all visitors. We are attempting to make this site as accessible and usable as possible, doing everything we can without editing the framework’s core files.

Special Configuration Options

To help address special needs, you'll find some customizable options below.

Toggle More Accessible Mode

More Accessible Mode does not limit functionality, but instead enables alternate rendering methods for page elements so that they are more compatible with accessibility tools.

More Accessible Mode enables the following items to be rendered in a way that optimizes them to work better with accessibility tools such as screen readers:

  • Removes the color themes - which allows you to use your own, if desired.
  • Disables some AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) features.

NOTE: This feature only applies to the application (not help pages) and is set for each user, remembered between sessions (using cookies) at this time (clearing cookies will restore the settings to the default values).

Come back to this page if you would like to remove/restore the themes.

Toggle Theme

NOTE: This feature only applies to the application (not help pages) and is set per session at this time (exiting, timing out, and navigating to the logon page will automatically restore the themes for the next user).

Come back to this page if you would like to remove/restore the themes.

Adjusting the size of text

This site uses font sizes that you can control using your browser.

Wheel Mouse

If you have a wheel mouse, most browsers can be toggled by holding the 'Ctrl' key down and then scroll the wheel.

Internet Explorer

You can change the text size in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 by selecting View > Text Size followed by your preferred text size from 'Smallest' to 'Largest'. The default setting is 'Medium'.

Firefox

You can change the text size in Firefox 2 by selecting View > Text size followed by 'Increase' or 'Decrease'. To return the text size to its default setting, select 'Normal'.

You can change the text size in Firefox 3 by selecting View > Zoom followed by 'Zoom In' or 'Zoom Out'. To return the size to its default setting, select 'Reset'.
