BED

Business Employment Dynamics (BED) employment statistics track private sector establishments across time and show changes at the establishment level. The quarterly data show the dynamics of the labor market through the number and rates of gross job gains (openings and expansions) and gross job losses (closings and contractions). Wisconsin Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (QCEW) publishes BED with the cooperation of the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). BED data is available 9 months after the end of the reference quarter. BED are employment statistics that come from the QCEW program which is based on Unemployment Insurance (UI) coverage.
